Ingredients
1 c sugar
8 ea extra large egg
1 c flour, unbleached
1 lb butter
1 bn powdered sugar
1 bn cocoa powder
1 bn brewed coffee

Directions
Cake:
1) Beat sugar and eggs with electric mixer in a large bowl until it reaches the top of the bowl.
2) Blend in flour with a spatula.
3) Line round cake pans with waxed paper and pour batter into each - just enough batter to cover the bottom. It should be very thin.
4) Bake each cake just a few minutes, until cooked, in a 350 degree oven. Repeat until there are 7 layers.

Icing:
1) Mix the butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and coffee until spreadable.
2) Add milk if it's too thick.
3) Spread icing between each layer of cake and around the outside.
